The Anglo Saxons and Vikings at Tatton Farm
Our Year 5 children recently enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Tatton Farm, stepping back in time to explore life during the Anglo-Saxon and Viking periods. The day was packed with hands-on activities, including learning about village defence strategies, making bread over an open fire, building and tending fires, hunting techniques, and the art of weaving. The visit brought history to life, allowing the children to immerse themselves in the skills and daily challenges of early medieval communities.
