Computing - What is an Algorithm?

We explored the concept of an algorithm by dressing a doll, which helped us understand the idea of giving clear, step-by-step instructions. Each step in the process—like putting on the doll’s shirt, pants, and shoes—represented a part of the algorithm. We realised that each instruction needed to be specific and in the correct order for the doll to be dressed properly. This activity showed us that algorithms are simply a set of ordered steps designed to complete a task, just like a recipe or a list of directions.
