The Year 1 class went on an exciting trip to Staircase House in Stockport to learn about the Great Fire of London. In the 15th-century house, they dressed up in 15th-century-style clothing and acted out scenes from the story of the Great Fire of London. Moving through the historic rooms, the children experienced the story of the fire's spread and the attempts to stop it. This hands-on activity helped them understand the event and enjoy learning about history.
