Bolognese
We were very excited to have the opportunity to learn how to make a simple Bolognese recipe! During this cooking activity, we practised safe knife skills, such as proper knife handling and vegetable chopping, under close supervision. Additionally, the class learnt how to adapt the recipe to improve its nutritional content by incorporating more vegetables, using leaner meats, or even trying plant-based proteins. This engaging, hands-on experience made cooking fun while promoting healthy eating habits and boosting their confidence in the kitchen.
