Year 5 headed off into the abyss to the caves of Sale to begin their Viking Warrior training. They were met by Bjorn, who was to be their warrior trainer. We learnt about axe throwing and archery. Archers were not common but were still a necessary part of the army. Not only did they learn about it, they were able to have a go.

They had to ensure their sea-legs were ready, so off they went on a long-boat (a narrow boat). Luckily, all of the Year 5s passed. 

Finally, as the rain came we had to build a shelter so they could have a well deserved rest.
