Exploring Biscuits in Design and Technology

Year 4 have begun their new Design and Technology unit on biscuits with a delicious start! The children explored a range of biscuits currently available in shops, carefully evaluating their taste, flavour, appearance, and texture. As well as tasting, they examined the packaging, discussing its design, purpose, and how it helps to protect and market the biscuits. This hands-on investigation will help them as they move forward in the unit, designing and creating their own biscuits later on. A great way to combine food technology with creativity!
