The theme of this year's British Science Week was connections. Therefore, we focused on the links between Science and other areas of the curriculum as well as the link between school and home. The children all had the opportunity to complete a scientific activity, identify the links between this activity and the rest of the curriculum and use the activity booklets sent home to complete their own scientific enquiries at home! Children have even had the opportunity to earn CREST awards that are used in secondary schools across the UK, providing another connection between primary and secondary school!
